Bite Size Blog 9 : We Need Our Best Players On The Pitch
Hi folks,
As we reach the end of July 2026, and the Football World Cup has been completed, we have all been reminded of the value of a team, and team work.
And that a team is not just the players on the pitch, it’s the players on the substitutes bench, whether they get on the pitch or not, and the players in the wider squad, all playing their part in making the whole work well.
And it strikes me that the same analogy is applicable to politics.
Whether the government or the opposition, it’s vitally important to have the best players in the squad, on the bench, and if possible on the pitch.
The Conservative Party have a very strong team, and the team is getting stronger day by day.
But we are missing a superstar.
Our superstar.
The simply incomparable BORIS JOHNSON.

World renowned & respected
And although Boris Johnson remains a committed Conservative, and is certainly involved in world affairs, in particular his support for Ukraine, it is simply crazy that Boris Johnson does not have a clear & up-front role in the ‘Conservative Squad’
He has stated his support for Conservative Party Leader Kemi Badenoch many times.
He is a man of huge political experience, both in the UK and Worldwide. He is respected Worldwide.
He is one of the few politicians in the World recognised by just his first name.
He is the best political campaigner of recent decades, a vote winner and an election winner.
Proven. Case closed.
Now, he’s not even an MP at the moment.
True. But we put a man on the moon.
We even have recent history of the speed that obstacles can be removed.
It’s madness that he’s not even in the Squad.
Even a strong Team should always look to strengthen when it can.
And Boris Johnson back in the Conservative Squad strengthens it.
A lot.
And will frighten our political opponents to death.
It’s time … to Bring Back Boris.
I’ve never hidden my support for Boris Johnson.
X followers & Blog Readers are aware of that.
And many will have read a Blog I published a while ago (see below) about some options that Boris could take in the future.
The return of Boris to the Conservative Squad was option 1, there were 7 other options listed.
So THIS Blog is totally in line with what I suggested previously.
